Account data: when you sign in, we store your email address (and, for Google sign-in, the basic profile information Google shares, such as your email). We do not collect passwords — sign-in uses one-time email codes or Google OAuth.
Feedback: if you submit feedback on our pages, we store the rating and any comment you type. Feedback is anonymous unless you choose to include contact details in the text.
Usage data: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first, cookie-less analytics tool that collects aggregate page-view statistics. We do not build individual behavioral profiles.
We use your email to operate your account (sign-in codes, essential service notices) and to respond when you contact support. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not send marketing email without your consent.
Paid purchases are processed by Paddle.com as our Merchant of Record. Payment details (such as card numbers) are collected and stored by Paddle, not by us — we never see your full payment information. Paddle’s handling of your data is described in the Paddle privacy policy at paddle.com/legal/privacy.
We set one session cookie to keep you signed in. Your display preference (light/dark theme) is kept in your browser’s local storage. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare (pages, APIs, and databases run on Cloudflare’s global network). Third parties that process data on our behalf: Cloudflare (hosting and analytics), Paddle (payments), and Google (only if you choose Google sign-in).
We keep account data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing [email protected]; we will complete the deletion within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.
MathAnime is an educational site suitable for students. We collect no more personal data from any user than described above (an email address for sign-in). If you believe a child has provided us personal data beyond this, contact us and we will delete it.
MathAnime (mathanime.com) is operated by WenDong Zhang, an individual, trading as MathAnime, who is the data controller for personal data processed under this policy.
